The Nuherald.com website is free to use in creating your own heraldic designs once you have set up an account. There are no charges for how many designs you wish to create and save. Nuherald.com uses a paid for token system to be able to download all the artifacts related to a particular design should you wish to use it. A token is needed for each design download. Nuherald reserves the right to change token prices at any time. During Alpha Phase Nuherald.com has set the pricing of a single token at £4.95 GDP to encourage early adopters. Payments are processed via Paypal.

The art of heraldry has grown over many centuries driven by from the need for people to create an individual themselves, that is both unique and represents different facets of their lives and what they stand for.  In today’s on-line world the need for personal identity has never been stronger – channel the ancient arts of heraldry, with its glorious and complex use of imagery, storytelling and colour, to a new age of modern heraldry for all.

Design your own coat-of-arms

NuHerald enables anyone to design their own Coat-of-Arms and incorporate designs and symbols that represent what they stand for.  You select can from a vast array of Designs and Ikons and Colourways. The challenge is choosing what represents you.

We will guide you with Legend, Folklore and Modern Meaning.  Alongside the graphical description you will build-up a Blazon – an ancient concept of a unique written description of your identity.  With a modern twist we also turn this into a code, that with the almost limitless permutations will be uniquely your code.

Output in PDF (white background) and .png (transparent background), the unique designs can be used in many ways – social media signatures and branding, T-Shirts or even a tattoo.  A visual identity that is uniquely yours – with a modern take on an ancient art. Only when you are happy with your design you can pay for the output of Graphics, Blazon and Code to use in many ways.

Using NuHerald

Start now

Click on Start Now and this will take you to My Account.  To start designing select Add New Design.  Give it a name which will become the Title of your CoA.  Now Edit your design.  You will see a default example of a CoA – you can click on each element to replace it with your own chosen images.  When clicking on any element it will present a range of libraries to choose images from.  In addition to the title you created you can also add your own Moto.  As the deign is created it will also automatically create the Blazon and the Code.  Be Creative!

You can create a number of designs within My Account.  If you want to download and use any of your design you need to Purchase Credits to do this.  The purchase function is within My Account.

When purchased and downloaded you will get a graphic of the design (with or without the Title depending on if you selected include title or not).  These will be a .pdf format (white background) and .png format (transparent background).  Using these different formats depends on how you want to use your designs.  The Blazon and Code are output in .pdf and text formats allowing you to do what you want with them.  Remember for creating transparent backgrounds you should save in a .png format.
